While Thryve Care provides comprehensive primary care, we recommend maintaining catastrophic or high-deductible insurance for emergencies, hospitalizations, and specialist care. Our membership covers your day-to-day healthcare needs but isn't a replacement for insurance in case of major medical events.

Some specialized tests or procedures may incur additional charges, which we'll always discuss with you in advance.

Yes, all members have access to secure messaging with their provider for non-urgent questions and concerns. This direct line of communication allows you to get quick answers without scheduling an appointment for every question.

Yes, we offer virtual visits when appropriate for your medical needs. These are included in your membership at no additional cost and provide a convenient option for follow-ups, prescription refills, and certain types of care that don't require physical examination.

Yes, in most cases membership fees can be paid using a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), as direct primary care memberships are generally considered qualified medical expenses. We recommend confirming with your HSA/FSA administrator.

While we provide comprehensive primary care, sometimes specialist care is necessary. In these cases, we'll refer you to trusted specialists, help coordinate your care, and continue to serve as your healthcare home base, ensuring all your providers are working together.

We wish we could — but unfortunately, due to federal regulations, we're not allowed to accept patients who are actively enrolled in Medicare Part B or Medicaid. These programs don't currently allow members to pay out-of-pocket for services that are typically covered by their insurance, even if you'd prefer to. We truly hope this changes in the future, as we'd love to make our care model accessible to everyone!
